I have studied art and art history at various institutions including Cornell University, the Rhode Island School of Design, the Massachusetts College of Art, and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. I was awarded Bachelor's and Master's degrees in engineering, and for the past several years, I have been involved in various design, research, and artistic roles at universities, internet startup companies, and as a freelance artist and web designer.

The image you see above and on the main page is entitled 'Protein Mandala'. As a mandala, it is meant to represent an image of the self. Since we are comprised of the things we are made of, I see this mandala as representing a protein, one of the fundamental building blocks of life.
